Yuliy Borisov has become a member of the jury of architectural competition on creation of art image of the “Nizhniye Mnevniki” and “Terekhovo” metro stations located in the Region of Khoroshovo-Mnyovniki of NWAD (North-West Administrative District).
On October 7 the competition on the solution of interiors of two stations of Moscow Metro: "Nizhniye Mnevniki" and "Terekhovo" started. CD “Strelka” became the organizer of competition, JSC “Mosinzhproyekt” acted as the customer.
Contestants will have to submit the architectural and artistic concepts of passenger zones and entrance pavilions of stations including development of the plan of lighting, choice of materials and furniture. Thus organizers recommend participants to be guided by actual tendencies of architecture and to avoid imitation of historical styles.
Competition will take place in 2 stages. By results of an assessment of all sent application forms jury will choose 10 participants. Winners, who further will take part in development of project documentation for metro stations, will be defined at the second stage of competition. Russian and foreign architects and designers are invited to participation. Winners will be declared in February, 2016.

SERGEY KUZNETSOV - the first deputy the chairman of Committee on architecture and town planning of Moscow; ANNA MERKULOVA - the First Deputy CEO, the director of design of JSC “Mosinzhproyekt”; ALEXANDER VIGDOROV - the architect of JSC “Mospromproyekt”; GRIGORY REVZIN - the architectural critic, the partner of CD “Strelka”; ALEXANDER SESLAVINSKY - the deputy chief Metro system; VASILY TSERETELI - the executive director of the Moscow Museum of Modern Art.
